Cost to much in Canada compared to USA The first problem is I’m temporarily on loan to Canada, so when my old laptop’s hard drive failed I had to purchase a CA spec computer at a premium over a similar laptop in the states. It seems unfair to people on both sides that there has to be a difference in content and price. The second problem is the ASUS bloatware and convincing Windows 8 to stop helping you. It’s a Great computer once you get it set up. The rest of the hardware performed flawlessly. Windows 8 can be made to perform much like 7 with help from sites dedicated to this. I don’t own a smartphone or tablet and this laptop does not have touch screen, so all those features are wasted on me. Sound is fair and much better than my old laptop. Not bad, but overpriced.

Very good laptop I bought this laptop in order to work with it and use powerful softwares for personal and institutional projects. It meets my requirements as far as I am concerned, however, since it operates on the new windows 8, it might conflict with few softwares in the market since most problems associated with windows 8 are not fully known/in the process of discovering them, and still quite new in the market with no major reviews from the users, this should not be a major set back though.Once I ordered the laptop, it was received within the expected date as stated from the provider. I like the design, performance, very fast , robust, comfortable keyboard, no issues with wireless receptions, minimum noise, very good webcam and it never gets hot. What I don’t like about it is the touchpad which can be very sensitive and its a nuisance at the beginning but will get used to it in few days, as this is not a new thing where it has been reported by many Asus/other brands users for the new…

The main reason why I’m a bit disappointed is because of windows 8 that is intalled on this laptop which I don’t really like.If not, everything is good, I like this laptop very much!
